This happened in Eveleth MN in Fayal Township in 1975. I was in 8th grade. My friend Mike spent the night. It was very late, and my parents were sleeping. Though my bedroom was upstairs, we slept downstairs. We had a bedroom downstairs, which had two twin beds; lying in bed talking about anything that would come to mind, me and my big mouth, I had to bring it up. I told Mike about my ghostly experience I had in the basement. It was about the night I saw the woman in the blue flowered nightgown in front the fireplace. Just as I said it, the light came on. The strange thing was we both heard the light string ''plink,'' and the string on the light was swinging around in a circle super-fast. It was as if unseen force pulled the string. I tried to grab the string as it swung around over my head. It finely came to a stop when it wrapped around my wrist. We both headed upstairs.

When I was in about 4th grade me and a friend had to go into the basement to get art supplies. As we arrived from down the elevator, we turned the corner to walk into the room to grab the stuff. Right as we did, the big crate of stuff fell off the shelve. We ran back up and said we couldn't find it. Gives me chills.
