A shadow of a tall man yelling at me to get out in the middle of the night. Dogs barking up the stairs to the attack when no one is there. Hearing little bells when there are no bells in the house.

Priest's point on the western shore of lake Minnewaska, home of a former area priest that took his own life by hanging. House is said to be haunted by both the priest and his former housekeeper. Mysterious lights were sighted on numerous occasions.
In the 1960's after a thrill seeking group of teenagers hosted a beer party at the abandoned house they returned the next day to look for a lost item, only to find that the mess from the party had been cleaned up and the house was spotless.
My cousin was one of those teenagers.

Comment by Ross: I grew up on the lake at our family cabin in the summers. My parents and neighbors would boat over to the house, and we would go inside. They would say it was haunted. I remember being afraid to go in the house, but no one saw any ghosts. This was the early 70s. I do remember seeing tombstones in the yard. The house was abandoned and windows broken out for many years at that time. My brother is at the cabin this weekend and said it is for sale now.
