Out of nowhere the bathroom light turned on I paused....
Looked at the switch to see that it was indeed in the off position. Then a few seconds later the light turned off. My heart started beating fast and I looked in the mirror and behind me was a dark black figure.
I bolted back to bed and jumped under the covers but didn't sleep much more that night.

Alright I'm sixteen and I'm not saying that these stories aren't credible but it would be nice if they put a little more detail into it. Anyways I was at what we in Hastings call ''The Falls'' and many strange things are talked about over there yet I never see anything about it on websites? Anyways recently a girl was supposedly seen falling into the water they haven't found her since there was also another kid biking by the edge of the cliff (there's a cliff that's above the water obviously) , and the kid supposedly fell off his bike and tried to hold onto it for support but he fell off the cliff and died.

This is all true but I don't remember the exact details. You might ask what this has to do with ghosts? Well there's certainly many eerie things around that place. One reported death one reported missing girl and probably the creepiest part around that place is the insane asylum, they don't call it that of course but they keep people there who are mentally unstable.
OK now I will get to my story. Me my friend Logan and my brother Zack were biking along the paths (there's many bike paths) and it was the pat that lead to the bridge across the water. Anyways as we were biking I had stopped because they went ahead of me and I was tired and I heard something walking behind me like leaves crunching and footsteps so I got down low thinking it was them trying to sneak up on me so I'd scare them instead.
However after about a minute or two they came back and asked me what I was doing. I told them what I heard and my brother out of nowhere said ''oh my god wth'' we all turned around to see a black silhouette it was almost misty it had no human resemblance not even the shape for that matter, and the creepiest part was it went slowly behind a thin tree and as it went behind it nothing came out the other side like it should have been moving past the tree but it just disappeared.
