That is so true about Hastings and that the older people around here and even the ones like me who grew up here no one wants to talk about it let alone say there are any ghost here. But if you tell them to go stay at the bed and breakfast place on the west wide of town the old manion place that had no one living in it when I was a kid and was just turned into the bed and breakfast a couple of years ago and has change hands a couple of times.
And even now is up for sale lol!!!! I have to laugh that is got to be one of the most haunted places iknow of . Hell I won't even go to that place. I even here that the people next door to the place has problems with it.

I just know when we were kids a bunch of us used to go sit at the curve at night and watch the glowing lights that used to come from the windows at night but it was all ways been abandon as long as I could remember and would dare each other to go in it by UT now one would go do it.

Well you know I never believe in ghost before but one night two of my brother kids went out to the cemetery at 3:15 am. We did it just for the fun of it. As we were walking though it about half way back I said to the two boys trying to scare them back along the tree line where that Tombstone is can you see it that black shape.
Doesn't it look like a body. They both said yes it does . As fast as I said that it moved 50 ft I would say in a split sec. Well I said holy gow. Well that wasn't what I said but you get the point.
