I lived in Henriette back in 1960 to 1964; it was great little town, went to school there. Lots of history. My ghost story is in the mid 60s a bum came to town; hung around looking for free hand outs. That night he tried jumping a fright train. Well it didn't work out real well for him. They found his headless body on train some were in northern WIS. And his head, well my buddy's dog was playing with it in the front yard.
They say at night when a

train goes through you see a headless body north of town walking on the tracks. True story.

Comment by anonymous: That was Olson's dog that found the head. They lived by the train tracks in town I remember that it was really bad. There were a lot weird stuff that happened in that town. There's nothing of a town there anymore. All the down town buildings are gone. Just a dump town. Sad.
