I always see a lady in a white dress on top of the hill at Sibley Park. I've seen her a couple of times. First time she seemed distressed and sad; the second time she was very angry. Has anyone else seen her? I can't find any articles. Submitted by anonymous

Cray Mansion at the corner of 2nd and Warren is haunted. It shares an alley with the well-known haunted Hubbard house. The first night I moved in I had a get together with some friends to celebrate the move. During that time I brought my dog outside. To explain the layout of the entryway: to get into the basement apartment where I lived, you had to enter a small hallway and go down a little flight of stairs to get to my door, which was in the middle of a huge entryway room that had four rooms branching off into various closets or boiler rooms. One such door to one of these rooms refused to close despite the latch working. Every time we'd close it, the door would just open and slowly creak until it swung against the wall.

Anyway I brought my dog inside, and the hair on the back of her neck stood up the second we entered the first door. She bared her teeth, growled, and ran forward. The floor was slippery. My dog was absolutely terrified and still is to this day of slippery floors. We can't figure out why, but she would outright refuse to cross unless you coax her endlessly and praise her for every step she takes. That night she lunged forward and rounded the corner of the hallway. I ran after her. As I turned the corner, I saw some strange black mass hurling away from Luna and down the stairs where I watched it dash into the room with the door that never closes.

My dog growled and snapped at the doorway but refused to enter the room. I got into my apartment quick as hell and locked the door after that, but I still had a year to go. There's also a small park nearby with a little gate house that the gardeners store tools and supplies in. Every night when I'd let my dog outside around midnight to 1 a. M. , I'd hear a rhythmic squeaking coming from inside the gate house. I've tried to look inside before, but I couldn't stare inside the dark window more than a second without getting a sick feeling in my gut.
My dogs were visibly uneasy whenever they heard the noise as well and would never run around to play with each other like they usually did. They'd tuck their tails between their legs and run to the house as soon as they did their business. Sometimes if I waited to take them out until later, a weird fog would localize in the garden area and lawn of the Hubbard house. I never thought too much of it due to the fact that Mankato is nestled in a river valley and fog is a common occurrence.
Recently however I googled the Hubbard house and found out that one of the most brought up paranormal encounters is a fog or a mist that appears inside the house. After hearing that I've had goose bumps for the past hour, and I can't get it out of my head. I always assumed the house had a care taker as well since I would hear movement from the house at night, and sometimes I could swear I heard people. This was only reinforced by my dogs perking their ears and looking at the house whenever I also thought I'd heard something.
