Keep in mind, I am a 53-year-old man. This took place almost twenty years ago while I was at a friend's house. Me and a buddy were out working on some cabinet in the shop. We stopped to go find an old tool he had placed in the basement some time ago. We needed a flashlight to get down there because a lot of the electricity had been lost during renovation. It was very dark, dense, and mildew laden down beneath the house. It was very obvious that anyone

had rarely come here.
We made our way to the back of the room, and we were suddenly yanked back by something we couldn't see. We both looked to

each other in terror and wonder. What was going on? There was no way we could even begin to blame one another since we both experienced it at the exact same moment. We could also begin to hear footsteps, which had a distinct pattern which sounded like a bad limp. My buddy also claimed to hear voices nearby in a separate room, which housed the internal utilities of the place. We found our tool and bolted from the basement.
