My sister owns this really old house in Monticello. According to the historical society it was once a hotel for travelers. My sister and I were sitting in the living room which was once a parlor for gatherings.
The TV was on channel 3 and it all of a sudden changed to channel 5 then kept switching back and forth. None of us were doing anything. The remote was across the room. Occasionally there was classical music coming from the kitchen while there is no radio in there.

I was sleeping on the couch and when I woke up I was on the floor and I was wet. I discovered that the aquarium was shattered and that the fish were flopping around on the carpet. In my sister's bedroom there was shadows and on occasion her phone rings once and stops.

She moved out after several more incidents and it never happened again.

Comment by Braden: Seems like a really powerful strong and intelligent spirit here. Skeptical on the aquarium part but a spirit can definitely force music out of nowhere and switch channels touching or not touching the remote. (I live in Monticello too. Amazing right? :p I'm young though. :<).
