it didn't hurt. I was scared and started for the doorway (no door), there were two long pieces of wood under me.
At once both flipped on their sides and I fell to the dirty rotted underfloor. I laid there for a minute thinking that it was Paul and he was going to pounce. No what I felt next is hard for me to describe, I felt like cold.
Not afraid but hopeless I felt like my body was being thrown in a hole that I couldn't get out of. The only
