Weld Hall MSUM campus. I'm not a skeptic and I'm not a believer. I am what you would call ''open-minded. '' at least that's how I try to go into any kind of situation where something out of the ordinary might be present.
Last winter two of my friends and I decided to check out the supposed haunting of the Glasrud Auditorium in Weld Hall. We didn't see anything and I have no concrete evidence to support any kind of haunting.
However... The story goes

that during the renovation of the building a worker fell down one of the spiral staircases that lead to the basement on either side of the stage broke

his neck and died. Some versions of the story claim that he also broke his legs and has been seen ''dancing on stage without his legs.''
I don't think this last part of the story makes any sense it sounds like something someone made up to scare their friends around a campfire. But the first part of the story as far as I can tell is true.
Which is why they keep the spiral staircases closed off most of the time. Except for the night we visited.
