When I was in 3rd grade my mother and step-father purchased an old farm house in North Branch that did not have running water for about two months - no bathroom (no bath/shower or toilet). During the two months we took baths down at a river and used an outhouse for the bathroom, and a pump house for water. I was told that at one time the house used to be used for wakes. There were some strange things that happened in this house.

My brother saw a ghost of a lady with an old fashion dress on. Another time I was babysitting my nephew, and he was upstairs crying in his crib. When I went to get him he said ''someone was standing by my bed. '' I grabbed him and darted down the stairs. Another time me and my sister were playing cards (we were home alone), and we heard a pounding noise, few stomps, and a pig noise. We looked at each other, and I said did ''you hear that?'' Then I repeated the noise, and we heard the same noise again, so we ran out of the house.

Also, my bedroom was scary at night because it had a small closet door but lead to a larger door that went to my parents' bedroom. At bedtime I always felt like someone was watching me. My sister said she thought she heard someone saying her name. I was just thinking about this house, and I was wondering if the people that might live there now have experienced anything strange or seen any ghost. The house is located somewhere off of HWY 95. It is a 2-story house with a creepy basement. .
