Everyone knows about the ''little people'' who live in the forest in and around the Mille Lacs Reservation. Well, this isn't about the Little People, this is about the Giant ''Being'' that's been sighted. One story goes; a man and woman hear dogs barking between the hours of 2 and 4am. Thinking that it might be a disturbance with the family across the street, they look out to investigate and see a huge being looking through the neighbors 2nd floor window. It seemed to look and then gets upset by the barking dogs and runs off towards the lake. (this is on Nay Ah shing Dr. )

2. The 2nd story goes as so; some men are out in the woods on an unrelated matter. They find what is imprints of a huge foot.

3. Two young men are walking South on 169 and are in the area between Wig Wam Bay and the dump area. Sort of by the transitional living mobile homes. They start to hear something that sounds like ''heavy'' foot steps. One man described the foot steps as, ''Huge and you could feel the vibrations under your own foot''.
When they looked to where the sound was coming from, they saw a dark shadow by the tops of the trees. Moving adjacent to them, from tree to tree. When they stopped, ''It'' stopped. When they took back to walking, it also started walking. But for every 5 or 6 steps of theirs, was one full step of the being. While their steps sounded as a, ''quench, quench, quench, quench''... ''It's'' sounded as a, ''Quench-Quench...... Quench-Quench..... Quench-Quench..
There was an eerie feeling surrounding them the entire walk and there seemed to be a thick fog all about them. The only car driving on the hwy by them that night was that of one of the men's girlfriend, who was summoned by the young man, who was frantic and was convinced that this huge being may have gotten tired of following and turned to them as a late night snack.
