I lived in an apartment downtown above the greeting card store on Bush Street about twenty years ago. It's a very old building (1870). I was twenty when I signed the lease and celebrated my 21st birthday while living in that apartment. I only lived there for a year and moved out the second my lease was up. I am not sure if it's a ghost or a malicious demonic spirit. I hope someone has blessed or exorcised the building by now.

torso of a shadow person peering around the doorjam as it was spying on me in my bedroom. It was completely black with no features. It had to be about

six feet tall since its head was just below the door jam, and it was leaning to the side to peek around the doorway. As soon as I made eye contact, it immediately retreated behind the door. It was gone when I woke up my boyfriend who had spent the night to search for an ''intruder.'' I was a skeptic at this point, and he was able to convince me that it must have been a nightmare, but I never felt right in that apartment afterwards.
