When I woke one night from my bed and went to relieve myself I had glanced down the hallway back towards the stairway and noticed someone standing there. Being mostly asleep and bleary-eyed from my contacts, I could not make them out.
After my trip to the bathroom the person was still standing there, and assuming it was my mother, I jokingly mumbled ''go to bed'' to her... And promplty collapsed into my bed. The next morning at the breakfast table

I asked my mother why she hadn't responded to me in the hallway she told me she had slept downstairs the night before.

told me he didn't get up, not even once.
