1. Went to pick up friends at the gas station on the north side of town. It was after midnight. We all saw him. It was a ghostly cowboy with a duster. He appeared out of nowhere in the middle of the highway. He looked at us. We at him. I hit the gas harder. We all agreed we saw him. No one talked about it after.
2. Lived in the center of town over a storefront. If you were the only person home you heard many voices whispering but you could not
|
understand them. All of us refused to sleep there alone. But no one discussed it. Friends refused to come over. Turns out the area we were in was where
|
all the Native Americans were while the white settlers lived in Mankato.
3. No one would stay on the 3rd floor of the library past 9 pm. It became very heavy and you just wanted to leave immediately. Legend was it was haunted by a Indian Chief. All I know is at 9 everyone would leave and go to another floor. Library closed at 12. Submitted by Former GAC
