My family and I just moved to Thief River falls a couple of weeks ago. There are footsteps in the house, knocking on my window, someone touching my arm when I was going to sleep, someone was playing my flute at 3 in the morning, and a black figure walking in my backyard.

I was a small child living in an old duplex in thief River falls while I was in my bedroom playing I turned to my right and looked up seeing a transparent Civil War soldier. I asked his name he said it was ''marshall goodie'' and asked if he could play.
We drank tea together and played off and on for days I do remember after a few months of him coming off and on to visit I eventually became scared of him I was no longer able to see him. At the age of 3 a child has no idea what a Civil War soldier looks like let alone the facial hair of the time.
I told my mother he looked like captain crunch because of his suite not his pill box hat. I still have no idea who this soldier was or why he was there but I can see him in my mind to this day.
