I stayed with my aunt and her kids a few summers back at their apartment in Two Harbors a few blocks from the train depot. One night my aunt, brother, and I were sitting in the living room talking when all of a sudden there was very heavy breathing coming from her kids' closet. When we checked on the kids they were both sleeping in the bunk bed, and the closet was empty. Then there was heavy footsteps coming up the stairs (this is a security locked building) with a man yelling things we couldn't understand. We went into her bedroom and shut off all the lights. The door (which was locked with a chain, deadbolt, and door handle lock) slammed open and close. When we checked again no one was there.
I sat back on her bed and looked into the living room when all of a sudden a girl covered in blood appeared screaming help. I was the only one that could see her, but we all heard her. I heard the man screaming, but all I could see was his boots. The heavy breathing got worse and more frantic and heavier. The lady screamed ''help'' and was gone. The breathing disappeared also. We thought it was over. It wasn't. All of a sudden on the lower roof right outside their windows the boots reappeared along with the man's voice. He stomped back and forth for about five minutes. Then we heard sirens and him screaming very clearly saying ''you'll never get me b***h deserved it. '' There was the sound of gun shots for two minutes. Then it sounded like someone/something landing on the dumpsters. There was no one around or anything on the news about gun shots.

A few months later I talked to someone who investigates paranormal activity. He did research and found out that the apartment belonged to a woman and her kids. One night the abusive ex-husband went there. The kids hid in the closet scared while he beat his ex-wife to death. He got the kids next and stomped around on the roof until the police showed up, and he got into a gum fight with them. They ended up killing him, and he fell and landed on the dumpsters below.

This experience has haunted me ever since. I don't talk about it much. They were in about late 1800-early 1900 clothes. If you have had the same experience in the same area, please leave a comment. Also it's a couple blocks down from a school. I'd like to hear that I'm not the only one with this house. It has been going on for about a year before my experience and scared my aunt and cousins. After the night of my experience they said it didn't happen again that they know of. I told them everything I saw/heard as it happened. I cried the entire time. Please comment if you know or have had the same type of thing in that area.
