Losekamp Hall on the campus of Rocky Mountain College has long been considered to be haunted. The ghost is supposedly that of a merchant and philanthropist, who murdered his wife in the building and then committed suicide. Unfortunately for legend, he was never married and died of kidney disease 5 years before the building named for him was even built! It's hard to keep a good story down, however, and the building does seem to be genuinely haunted. Anecdotal

evidence can be traced back to the 1970s. When the big sky paranormal investigators held a ghost hunt there in 2008, some weird things happened: heavy
|
doors rattled, and shook as if in a high wind, we heard footsteps running down the back stairs from the stage when no one was in the area, and most unusual of all, the rear stage lights came on by themselves, glowed red for a few seconds, and turned themselves off again.
Four of our members witnessed this phenomenon. The campus electrician checked them out the next day and could find nothing wrong with the lights and had no explanation for the event. Submitted
