beeper calls coming from a floor that had no one living on it. Yikes.

I lived in a duplex on 19th Street north between 1st and 2nd north. I moved into it with a girlfriend, and her mother said it had an evil spirit in it. Now this girl's mother was bit off anyway, so I didn't pay much attention to her. I was in the Air Force and spent four nights out in the field at the time, so I was only in the house half of the nights I lived there. However, my girlfriend stayed in the house every night. Her mother and some of her crazy friends came over and burned sage and blessed the house while I was out in the field, so I had no idea what had happened or that there was even a need for it.
After a few months the girlfriend and I broke up, and she moved out of the duplex and left me there alone. I had no problems in the unit and didn't notice anything unusual. A friend moved in to the back bedroom with me, and he never said anything about ghosts or unusual things going on. A few months later he deployed, and I started dating a new girl who would often stay the night at the duplex with me.
