A few years ago, the two hospitals in Great Falls merged, but before the merge, one of the old hospitals had 8 floors. On the 7th floor was the surgical patients. Mostly adult patients. The actual surgeries were down on 2nd floor.
There were some surgical procedures from time to time in 727. There was a haunting late at night when that portion of the floor was empty, every night nurse a few years ago has heard this haunting.

was very unsettling, it was disturbing. It sounded like Newborn babies screaming. The Newborn ward was on the 3rd floor. There has been several nurses

that have quit over the years because they could not stand the haunting of screaming babies.

Comment by D: You are aware also that late-term abortions used to be done on the 7th floor surgical unit when it was the Deaconess right? That might explain the sound of Newborn children screaming.
Comment by D: The old ICU on what is now the west campus is also haunted at the hospital in G. F.. I had a horrible experience one night there and there were instances of pictures flying off of walls and trays flying out of the meal cart.
Also the new surgery section on the 2nd floor used to be the old psych unit. I worked there one night while they were remodeling the 7th floor surgical unit. The rooms of the old psych unit were still there and so was the old tub room.
The feelings of sadness abandonment fear loneliness and madness were almost overwhelming in this section of the hospital. Especially in the tub room for some reason.
