I've never been a huge believer in ghosts up until a few years back. I started having these weird dreams where I would be held down in my sleep, nothing was above me, however I couldn't move. And as soon as I would wake up I felt as if someone had knocked the wind out of me.
At first I thought it was asthma attacks. Later on down the road after a few months of no re-occurring incidents I ended up moving from one place to the next. While my roommates both worked graveyard shifts I would be alone every night.

That's when the dreams started again. Until one night I heard footsteps downstairs. When I got up to check and see what was going on it was nothing. So I went back upstairs to bed. Later on that night I was rudely awakened by the door slamming open and shut.

I thought this was my roommate because the footsteps continued. But then I called him to tell him to be quiet he said he was at work. I immediately jumped up to check things out. No one. Nothing at all, door was locked, every room and closet was empty.
I went back to sleep when I heard my door open and as soon as I opened my eyes I saw a girl in a white dress who had hanged herself at the foot of my bed. I remember this so vividly, her hands were reaching out at me, she was covered in blood.
I panicked and jumped out of bed to turn the lights on. I left the house and did not return until morning. Safe to say I moved out pretty quick. It's been 3 years now with no dreams or any sort of paranormal activity going on in my current life.
