In 2016 I lived with my grandparents and my aunts. My grandma said that the house was often checked on by our relatives. She said she saw shadows go into my room. She also heard footsteps downstairs. I absolutely hate going downstairs. One time I had to go down there to take out the trash in the laundry room, and as I was leaving I saw a shadow go into my aunt's room, and I ran upstairs to tell my grandma.

I live in a house in Mandan. I'm 13 years old, and I live with my grandfather, mother, my brother, and my 2 sisters. We are Native American, and we can have our advantages and disadvantages with this whole spiritual thing. Up till last month we've only had one spirit, and it was our grandma. She would protect us from all evil spirits. Normally they would be woman.

However, lately we've gotten a tall man who is stronger than our grandma, so she can't really do anything. He tried hurting my friend when she spent the night, but when he was standing over us. I told him to go away and he can't hurt her. He didn't listen and then scratched her. I started talking to my aunt about this. She stayed the night at the house to find out who it was. She and I were lying on the couch in the living room. She woke up and saw this tall shadow man by my grandfather's bedroom.
According to spiritual weaknesses this spirit isn't allowed in his room because in that room there is an eagle feather, and an eagle feather holds a strong powerful India spirit. My aunt told me this same spirit haunted her when she was little. He gave my aunt a scar on her chest. On March 1st, 2017 at 6:30 am my 11-year-old brother just got out of the shower. He opened the bathroom door and saw this man walk up to him. He screamed and woke all of us up. He started crying, and we asked him what happened, and he told us.
That following night I woke up to a phone call. I was looking for my phone, but I couldn't find it in my room, so I listened for the ring. I followed it downstairs, and I found a young girl maybe around 4 years old holding my phone. She asked me to play with her and her stuffed buffalo. I told her to give me my phone because I had to go back to bed. I took it, and she screamed, but nobody woke up. When I looked at the little girl I saw the man squat down beside her and put his hand on her shoulder. I was scared to death. Then my grandfather came out with sage and sweet grass, and they disappeared. They haven't shown up since then.
