No one was there; no animals, no people. An animal would be too tall for that. Now I was a little kid; not knowing him or what was going on or who he was. His body was found later in the river. It was by my house.
I have never told anyone about this.

When I was a little girl I always remember my mom telling me ghost stories. Oh boy did she have the stories. She said when she was a young girl in her teens she used to hang out with friends, and they would get into trouble. Meaning they used to drink alcohol, which is not a good decision. Anyway back to my story. She stated that they were all at her friend's house partying and ran out of liqueur, so of course my mom said ''well, I will go on a beer run,'' meaning she was going to find someone to buy for her. Mind you this was in the 50s early 60s.

We live on a reservation, and she was driving about 12 midnight when they saw someone walking on the side of the road. She said it had on a long trench coat with a black cowboy looking hat. That creeped her out, so of course she didn't stop, but drove on by. Fast forward after they got their stuff they were driving back, and about a block away from the house she happened to look in her mirror and sitting in the backseat was an image silhouette of black, nothing else. She said ''I stepped on it and prayed all the way to the house. '' They got out and ran into the house. She said ''I have never been so frightened in my life. I continued praying through the night.''.

My roommate and I had been joking for a few days about a ghost that is said to haunt the tunnel of the UND campus. We were saying that it was going to get you etc. One night we were sitting in our room and my roommate got up, went to the bathroom and left her phone on her desk.
She came back and typed on her phone was ''f*** you all. '' neither of us typed it but there it was. Our room has also gotten this weird smell before but it doesn't smell bad outside or out our door.
