I lived in a house by the train depot when I was younger. My sister used to always see someone by her closet, but he would disappear when she said her prayers. One day we were in the basement because that was where our bedrooms were, and we heard someone walking around upstairs in boots. We thought it was our step-dad, so we went up there and could smell his cologne, but he wasn't there. The next day we asked him why he left so quickly, and he said he was never there. The back porch of that house had a creepy feeling and was always cold and stinky, so were the stairs leading downstairs. It had a creepy storage area under the steps.
On Christmas' Eve one year I was lying on the bottom bunk of my bed in the basement room, and my two little sisters were on the top bunk. I saw a man with a knife standing by the bed. I screamed, and one of my little sisters jumped down and pulled the light string and jumped right through him, and he disappeared. We all moved upstairs, and I was lying between my parents in their bed, and my mom was reading the newspaper. She said she had a strange feeling to put the paper down. When she did he was standing next to her bed. We were all packed up and moved out by New Year's Day.

I would never spend another night in that house again even if I was paid! Strange things happened there all the time we lived there. Doors would be opening and closing. Our lights would be turning off and on . Sometimes TV channels would change or turn off and on. We had water running and the yucky feeling of being watched all over the house, especially in the basement.

Ok I know I'm on here a lot but the story I'm going to tell is the scariest thing that has happened to me yet. Well it was like 10:00 pm. I think my friend was spending the night and my parents went to the store.
