I grew up about ten miles northwest of Isabel in a little house in a hole. My grandmother had originally lived in a little abandoned ghost town nearby. I cannot remember the name of it, but she always told stories about how bad it was growing up because she lived with her dad and his brothers and how her uncle John would always abuse her. nightmares about him until she finally moved into town.
When I was in high school I started having nightmares about that. It scared me. I had my first boyfriend, and one day we were alone on the farm. We were cuddling on the couch, and I started hearing weird howls and bangs on the house. I was a little scared, so we moved to the basement. I was waiting for my boyfriend, and I heard him come in. He stank and started sniffing my hair and said
