I live on Highway 18. In 2013 22 days after Christmas my grandma Sandra M. Brings passed away. We slept down at her house with her sister ''Sedona Brings''. Sandra had so many friends from all over; there was so much people. But on the last day I was with my little cousin. We were going to the store. Michael was like 3-4 years old, I forgot. He was small.
He kept saying bye Nani (Sandra's name for us grandchildren) bye Nani bye Nani see you when I get

back. I was like what? He said he saw Nani sitting under that window with another girl (it was probably Celeste, Sandra's mother) (babies can see ghosts).

I looked back; I saw this shadow. I just broke down in so much tears. I really miss her still today.

I was camping out in the choke cherry trees right next to the track everybody walks on. One night I woke up and heard an old man singing Lakota, so I walked toward the sound of his singing and ended up standing in a patch of sage as tall as my waist.
