I got halfway across the bridge when I heard the sound of cowboy heals on the paved path. My body was torn between running frantically and the curiosity to turn around and see. But after a few seconds the sound stopped and I got the nerve to turn around and look.
I saw a tall man quite a way back who had stopped and stood behind me. I crossed the bridge and circled under the bike path that lead towards the park. When I began crossing the parking

lot by the boys club I could still hear the boots behind following with every step.
I panicked and started speed walking until I got to the parking
|
lot behind the journey museum. I stopped to catch my breath and see where the man was. He was nowhere to be found and the panic was gone.
Once I was ready I began climbing the hill by north Street. I was half way up and had to stop to get my breath again. I was carrying two bottles of water and three of the biggest medical books ever.
So I was easily winded climbing a steep hill. As I was catching my breath I looked back to see if anyone or
