A pagan store called mystic arts (now closed) was featured on the French television m6's paranormal channel in 2008. The store keepers were said to be self proclaimed witches and some say they actually conjured the entities at will.

The store space still harbors a strange essence that frightens the adjacent stores and wards off any eventual renters.

A house on Columbus Street in Rapid City is haunted by a teenage girl from the 1800s. You can hear voices, footsteps, moaning, doors slamming. Many residents and visitors have also seen her.
