Submitted by Nancy        Categories: christmas, church, family One night on my birthday me and my friends were walking around Saint Lawrence (the town I live in) and we had a feeling that we were being followed so we looked and no one. After walking about two blocks later we heard footsteps that were heavy.     We then turned around. I never saw anything, but one of my friends said to me Nicole I think someone is following us, we need to get out of here. I then said we will. We then didn't hear it till we got to my house. We were walking up the driveway when I looked and saw a black figure standing under a tree by my door. I then was to scared to tell anyone so I left it alone. Later that night I was looking around my room and in the corner was an old lady, she looked scared and I was too scared again to tell anyone. My house is now the oldest house in Saint Lawrence after the old church burned down and the school. My house used to be a hotel back in the 1800s and to this day I can't go outside my house at night without felling someone looking right at me. Submitted by Nicole Comment by Nancy: So interesting. My family is from St. Lawrence. My grandfather was the preacher there in the early 1920s. They lived behind the church across from the feed store that Hubert Humphrey's dad owned.
