As we grew older, though, our parents began to hear less and less. One time, before either of the youngest two were born, we had quite an experience with our TV. While our mother was making supper, the TV began to turn off and on. It did this several times, and then, jokingly, my mother told it to stop. It did. Then it started changing channels. The remote was sitting on an end table, and nobody was messing with it. We still have that TV, and since that

night, nothing like that has happened with it.
Another night, I was trying to get some sleep, and I heard the cupboard door in our bathroom slowly

open, then slam shut. My brother said it was just the wind. Sure, mobile homes are quite drafty, and ours was absolutely no exception. But it took quite a bit to get it to open. It couldn't have been the wind.
One night, my brother, step sister, and I all sat down to watch TV. My step dad had just gotten done taking a shower. Like the rest of us, he never closed the shower door after he was done using it. He went into his room with our little sister, (we
