how my mom knew something was up. Not enough? One time, we got a phone call (well, missed one). My brother and I, as part of our daily after-school routine, checked the voice mail. We couldn't hear anything but static. I recorded the phone call on my cell, and played it back over and over.
Eventually, after showing it to my friends, we were all able to make out phrases like a girl yelling ''Help me!'' and a man yelling ''Damn you!'' Also throughout the park,
