The house that I live in with my parents is built on an old farmland. I had my friend over one night, and we were in the basement, and she swears that there was a black cat standing in the corner. She turned around to ask me if I had a cat. When we looked back there was nothing there. A few months later she came over again and saw a calico cat. Now my mom is allergic to cats, so we don't have any cats in the house. If we did, our dogs would not get along with them though. When my mom was younger she had a cat. It was a black one that she accidentally killed in one of those couches that turn into a bed.

I was not a student at Willow River but I had heard rumors of it being haunted. Myself and a few friends went swinging outside. It was very dark and very late. We all had strange feelings. Then I looked over towards the building and saw a short little figure, long dark hair in a white gown quickly run around the corner and out of sight.

My friends and I left immediately.

Comment by Julia: The night shift custodians report numerous encounters with children. The difference is their encounters occur when enrolled students are fast asleep in bed. Willow River custodians and some staff speak of it in a matter of fact way describing echoes of laughter.
Running footsteps and outdated cloaked boys and girls darting around corners. They don't defend themselves. They are used to the extra company.
Comment by Emily: When I was younger my sister dad and I did the same thing and were outside on the swings. My sister and I kept feeling like we were being watched and I even saw something in one of the windows. It frightened me lol.
Comment by Yasha: I went to this school, and there were handprints in the ceiling of one of the girl's bathrooms.
