Riverview Middle School definitely has some weird stuff going on. When I was in middle school I was in all of the musicals. When we practiced in the auditorium I felt like something was off, and I always felt uncomfortable there. Now I've heard both that a girl jumped from the balcony or that she hung herself in the backstage area. Anyway, one day we had to get some props from up by a set of stairs that lead up to the balcony. I knew something was up because

the hairs on my neck were standing up.
My friends were messing around, and on the door by that prop room they knocked the ''shave and a haircut''

melody. Then we listened, and sure enough someone or something knocked back. We ran out of there so fast. Also the downstairs area where the dressing rooms are are creepy as hell. Supposedly there are tunnels still there from an old fallout shelter. Definitely going to check that out.

Comment by Em: I just wanted to confirm. I thought the tunnels and ghost stuff were just rumors, but my mother teaches in the building and confirmed the tunnels exist. Also my sister helped out with maintenance for the district a few summers ago and discovered that some of those tunnels go directly under the stage in the auditorium. (She sent me SnapChats). Also our choir/musical director has a very convincing ''ghost photo'' of an apparition next to a piano onstage. She got it from a middle school student who was just taking a picture of the piano for a class and only noticed the figure after developing it. I've seen it myself, and it's pretty spooky.
