Just visited the Bodega Brew Pub in Lacrosse, WI and had seen an apparition just walk by. Three others sitting down just noticed it and we walked outside to talk about it. The ghost had a shank in one hand and a tall hat. Yeah I'm not going there again, bad juju. Submitted by John

I think my dorm room is haunted or maybe weird things are just prone to happening in my dorm room. I go to the University of Wisconsin La Crosse and live in Reuter Hall which is a newer building. However, from the research I've done, it seems sightings have been reported in the building before. I know that my hall director says ''Frank'' the ghost moves his wife's earrings, and I know in my room lights will randomly go on and off. Doors will open or close. Noises come from the kitchen. The TV will shut off randomly, and I've been locked out of my room before which only locks from the inside.

Comment by anonymous: Weird, I live in the western residence hall which this building has only been up for about four years now and I have heard people freaking out about clothes falling off hangers, chairs spinning, pictures being tipped over, and seeing an older woman over them. I personally don't know what to think about it.
Comment by Kay: UWL is placed right across a cemetery do I don't see why it wouldn't be normal. :).
Comment by Mark: While the cemetery across from UW-L is very active, I doubt it is the source of the phenomena that has been reported at the various residence halls. It seems that there is something about the land on which the University is built that holds the key. There was once a neighborhood around the university, but as time went on and construction of new buildings was needed. Land was bought up from the surrounding neighborhood and I have little doubt that more than one person had died in those homes that were torn down to make way for the football field and various other buildings on campus and parking lots. That is where I believe the source of the phenomena comes from, not the cemetery. .
