I saw a full apparition of a woman standing in front of the historic house. The woman was dressed in period clothing and had a small purse/pouch hanging from her wrist. She was so solid; I could not see the door in front of her. It appeared to me she was going through the door into the house. Submitted by Kathy            Categories: hill, man It was the summer of 1993 and we just moved into a new house. I was 9 at the time. The previous owners were brutally murdered in the basement and the little girl was never to be found. At the time I did not know this. After three months of living there I went into the basement to unpack my dolls. Suddenly I heard footsteps, they were coming closer and closer, they said ''can I play with you? '' it was a girls voice and she sounded about my age. I did not see anyone, all I could hear was the voice. The footsteps stopped but then I heard a faint breathing noise in the background. I ran upstairs to my mom. Later that night the wash machine which was in the basement kept turning on and off but my mom wasn't doing laundry. So my dad went down there and said he heard a girl crying. I was up in my room unaware of the situation when my dad came up to check on me. He asked if I was okay and if had been in the basement.   (continued on the next page...)
