My old house on 13th st is haunted. I lived in a blue house and back in the thirties there was a mansion with a warehouse within it, and in those days it was where cranes and machinery was repaired. Anyway this property is haunted because back then the owner died of scarlet fever and sometime later the mansion burned to the ground. Many years later it was built again back in the 60s.
However the 2nd family vanished. Again the mansion burned, the family's little girls and servants perished. Then finally in the early 80s when a construction crew was digging on the old foundation where the old basement was they found at least a diary, old pots and pans, and 7 rotten charred bodies. Now some say that the evil from the trapped souls haunt the place because of the construction, but I say it's true because when I was there in the 80s 'til the early 90s. and window accommodations would move on their own and the lights would flicker and doors too. All I know is that tenants that stayed there didn't for long. May those souls find peace.

Comment by Jordan: I used to live there. The shades on our windows would go up and down by thereselves, and the lights flicker on and off too.

Comment by FORMER OWNER OF BLUE HOUSE: This is the former owner of the blue house off of center and 13th. To the woman who said that that house was haunted this is untrue none of my former tenants ever made stores like that. Are you sure it's haunted? That house was erected in 1884 and still yet stands and is owned by another owner .
I don't know what experiences you had there but there is nothing haunted in it. Also you said some stuff about the lights flickering by themselves it's electrical. Stuff like that happened all the time I'm sorry to the woman Jordan but there is no hauntings about that house.
Shades and blinds do not move . Lights only flicker because of the wiring. I pray for your illusions God bless former owner.

Tonight me and my friend decided to walk by the front main entrance of the Dekoven center again. Only this time we had flash lights instead of a flash light keychain. We were there for like at an hour and a half.
