I grew up in a home on Grand Avenue. When I was a child I would see orbs of lights dancing around me and in the living room. I've never forgotten it.

This house had so many weird things that happened and could have its own book. This house is just a couple of blocks north of St. Ritas. Everyone who lived, stayed, or visited this house experienced things that could not be explained, from shadows to doors slamming to faces appearing in the mirrors. Two different dogs from two different times displayed some very crazy things.
One dog, I will call ''Old Man,'' would refuse to go into the house. It did not matter how cold or how stormy it was outside, this dog especially would not go into the basement. I remember times that Old Man was forced to come inside because of the minus double digit weather. He would snarl trying to get him into the basement. I can't remember if he ever did go down stairs. The other dog had the coolest name (this was sometime after Old Man died. ) This dog would sleep up stairs or wherever he wanted to. I remember more than a few times when for no reason, this dog would stand at the bottom of the stairs and bark like a mad dog and refuse to go up the stairs and even pull on my pants to prevent me from going up there. After he calmed down I ventured up the stairs and checked both rooms and found no reason why, how, or what he was going crazy about. Yes, this happened more than a few times.
We had birds in the basement, way too many times to count. All windows were screened and there were no holes allowing these birds to get in. Winter times were especially strange. All of the windows were winterized with plastic. Still we would go downstairs, and birds that should have been down south for the winter were flying around. Never could explain this one either. I remember we had a couple of birds and would have to cover them at night. A few times after covering the cage, I'd hear the birds making all kind of racket. When I went to check on them, the cover was off of the cage.
