Five years ago I was staying with my mom in Wisconsin over the summer. We stayed with her boyfriend in Ripon for a few days and I had several abnormal experiences. One night I was lying on the couch trying to fall asleep when I got the most intense terrified feeling I've felt to this day.
I started to look around the room and I saw something standing in front of the TV. It almost looked like the Grim Reaper. It was wearing a black hooded cloak-type

thing and where its face should have been was just blackness.
I blinked and rubbed my eyes a few times and it didn't go away. There was a light on

in the hallway so I could see just fine and I was not dreaming. The only thing I could think to do was turn my back to it, cover my head with the blanket and pray until I fell asleep.
Another time I was home alone while my mom and her boyfriend were both at work. I heard the back door slide open and someone wearing heels walking through the kitchen. I assumed my mom had come home early and I went in there to talk to her and no one was there.
