We lived in a two family old farmhouse in the St. Lawrence area near Slinger. There were voices that were talking and you could hear them from another room. In the cellar we heard the sound of glass jars breaking and dishes falling and breaking clearly from the first floor.
Two of us both heard it from the first floor. We went down and nothing was disturbed. Also our cat died in the cellar under very odd circumstances and it's head was turned completely

around facing back.
We could hear loud walking upstairs and nobody would be there. The home dates back to 1837 and many owners and renters lived there

over the years. Neighbors next door reported previous owners told them of similar things.
