My friend and I were walking in the park on one of the Seven Bridges hike trail when we noticed a man in 1840s clothing following us. This man was so close to us that I could turn around and touch him. He looked to be about 60 to 65, so finally my friend turned around and said ''what the hell is your problem and why the hell are you following us?'' The man smirked and said nothing. Then a woman walked up and asked who we were just talking to. We said

the man behind us. She then said there was no man and that no one was following us.
My friend and I turned around and looked, and the man was nowhere
|
to be seen. I did some research and found out that between the city's founding in 1835 to 1841 there was no official cemetery and that who ever passed on was buried throughout what is now Grant Park, specifically the Seven Bridges area. Then in 1842 the first official cemetery and church was established. My friend denies it to this day and hates talking about it. Submitted by Aiden
