I live in Sparta due to my husband being station at Ft McCoy. We live in an old Victorian in Sparta, and since the day we moved in we have experienced hauntings. We have been told by neighbors after we talked to them about our experience that our house is in a book called Haunting Sparta. Of course, we told our property manager of what happened to us and friends who house sat for us, and of course she laughed it off. I lived all over the world and

even in Germany in older houses then this, but this house was crazy. .

My Grandma tells me a true thing that happened to her. She said that she went to my aunt's and uncle's house to help pay the bills for a little while. My cousins were about 5 and 2. My uncle and aunt were doing some errands, and my grandma was going to bed at about 8:00 at night with my cousins. My cousins were sleeping, but my grandma was up keeping care of them.
That night something very strong was pulling the blankets off my cousins and her. Struggling to keep the blankets on, she soon gave up. She said ''I'm going to see when they're coming home, leave the boys alone!'' She got up and talked on the phone with my aunt. She figured out they were going to be home soon. Nothing else happened that night.
Another story happened in that house. My dad and Grandma were going to watch a movie, but the TV cord wasn't plugged in. They put the movie in, and my dad was trying to plug the TV in. Suddenly he jumped back. The movie they wanted to watch was on! My dad checked back to see of the cord had been plugged in! It hadn't! The only way for the movie to be playing was by the energy of a ghost.
