I have lived in the same house in Waukesha for twelve years, and from day one the house has had other inhabitants. It started with footsteps upstairs while we were moving in, and lights that were not left on being found on. Along the way there have also been shadow figures, unexplainable music coming from one bedroom, voices, slamming doors, strange drafts, and cold spots. I had grown used to ''Jeff'' as we named him along the way as well as the darker

entity that occupies the basement.

Berlin there were signs something came with us. We had a sudden smell of cologne not kept in the house. We have heard both childish footsteps running on the stairs and heavy footsteps coming up the stairs. The dogs barked at a corner of my bedroom for no explainable reason and growled at the open closet. Our cat also chased something around that I could not see. More than one night I have woken up to see a child petting the dog or felt someone sit down
