I rode to school on my bike before practice one summer morning. The doors were locked. Then I tried the other ones, and they were unlocked. Nobody was there, and all the lights were off. As I walked inside to the middle school, I felt a rush of cold air as I walked to the gym. I made my way to the gym, and the far light was on. The fan started going, and I saw something run across the gym and laugh.

Our house is a vacation house, built in 1870, and was owned by the same family for several years. One night I was sleeping in the living room with my cousin, and the radio randomly turned on and started playing piano music in the middle of the night. Recently we got a call from the alarm company that our motion sensor on the alarm went off in the middle of the night. No one had broken into the house, and as the sensor was on the stairs nothing was in front of it that could have set it off.

Another time I was playing sardines with my siblings and cousins outside at night. My sister and I were the last ones left. We went behind the garage, a previous barn built in the early 1900s, to look for our cousin. My dad was building a lean-to, and there was a tarp hanging by where he was building it. There was the shape of a person behind the tarp, and we called my cousin's name, but no one answered. The shape moved forward. We screamed and ran, but it turned out my cousin was next to the woodpile the whole time. Another time in the middle of winter my siblings and I were all in my brother's room, and my parents were gone. A door slammed somewhere, and then a bunch of snow fell off the roof, but as it was winter no doors were open, and no windows were open to let drafts in.
My aunt also once woke up in the middle of the night and heard wailing. My brother's friend once woke up and saw a floating light above him, but by the time he woke my brother and their other friend up it was gone. My brother's friends also claimed that once he sat up in the middle of the night, screamed, and fell back asleep, but my brother doesn't remember. We also used a Ouija board at the house, and spoke to one of the first owners of the house. We checked the facts in a book on our town, and they were right. It was moving really fast on the board, and we all took turn taking our hand off the moving piece, and it was still spelling things out.
