I know for sure Shadow Lake is haunted. I have seen a ghost there. I saw it from Shadow Road as I was driving by. There was a man standing in the lake with the water up to his knees. I slowed down because I thought maybe he had fallen in the lake somehow and needed help.
But when I slowed down he vanished into thin air. He didn't dive under the water or anything like that he just vanished. Has anyone else seen this ghost man here besides

me? Maybe there was an accident some time in the past to cause this haunting?.

Comment by anonymous: It is haunted to a certain extent. Meaning that yes there was an accident there. The problem was that there were a car and a motorcycle. They both collided. The person in the car was fine, but the person on the motorcycle fell off the cycle and went into the lake and later died in the Waupaca Hospital. People later considered that point in the lake as his death bed. To this day people say that the ghost of whomever died there has come back to haunt the person who caused the accident, and it is not unheard of to see something like that often.
