I live on the Fox River. It's more considered Barrington Hills out here. My house is not too old, and the man who built it is still living. I will start with what I have seen outside. I drove down 25 late one night. I got to the part where it is farm fields. I looked out to the right and saw an old time lantern moving through the field. I really don't think they use the old lanterns anymore. It was a lantern with a candle because I could see the candle

flickering. I also have seen strange mists and orbs while sitting outside at night. They just come out of nowhere and move on.

me explain it first. We have a separate garage with a suite above the garage, and the house has three levels, and you can get outside from all 3 levels. When we first moved in it needed a complete remodel, so we lived in the downstairs area for awhile. At night my father, who is a complete skeptic on anything paranormal, would hear light footsteps walking above us. He even went up a few times to see if someone broke in, but no one was up there.
