I lived on East D Street in Alpha, IL. The house was built in 1911. I used to see a man in my room, and he would walk out of my closet and disappear. I never thought anything of it; I was so used to it. The house was rumored to have had a suicide where a man had hanged himself in my closet. That's the man I used to see. In 1975 my mother passed away, and the house suddenly became very cold. It stayed that way for 12 years.

was to fly home the light to the upstairs bathroom would flicker and wouldn't stop even when it was shut off. I told my dad who was an electrician. He

said he had noticed the same thing, and that the bathroom seemed colder than the rest of the house. We went to the attic and dad found that the wires were shorting out, and they were buried under old books and papers. He fixed the wires. My mother was telling us there was danger.
