I used to live on Prairie St. We would see shadows walking past on walls, hear doors open and close as well as dryer slam shut. We never heard talking but I did once get the feeling I was being watched. When I turned my head I noticed an apparition by the kitchen that kind of resembled my grandmother that had passed away.

Once it disappeared I ran like hell to bed.

I have lived in BI for six years. Since then there has been a lot of creepy stuff happen. Once about 4 years ago I was home alone with my dog in the downstairs kitchen. I suddenly heard a loud ban, so I ran upstairs, and all the cushions from furniture were standing straight up on the floor. Since that day we heard knocking on the inside of our windows. We heard running up and down the stairs. Last year I was lying on the couch, and it was winter so no windows were open. Suddenly the bedroom door in front of me slammed shut very hard. Then the foot stool went straight up in the air.
After I tried to push my dog in that room he put his tail between his legs and ran from me. He wouldn't go near the room for the rest of the day. We also heard whispering sometimes coming from our bedroom closet. We heard loud crashes downstairs as if something big fell. When we checked nothing was out of place. This really scared me at first, but by now we are used to strange things happening. It never tried to hurt me or my family so far. LIVING IN HAUNTED BLUE ISLAND.
