There's an old farm house outside of Breese that just reached its 100th year. My family and I had lived in that house for 5 years constantly experiencing different things. My first experience was seeing an actual apparition at the end of my bed as I walked into my room.
I needed something on the other side of the room and didn't want to wait for the thing to move so I walked through it. I will never repeat this mistake again as my body was wracked with cold chills and such a sorrowful feeling.

Another time I was sitting in the living room watching TV at about 11 pm, all of a sudden I could hear the sound of boards being picked up and dropped above my head upstairs. The sounds lasted for a good half hour or more.

The next day I went upstairs (being too scared at the time it was happening) and not one thing was out of place. Even the dust on the boards hadn't been disturbed. The most freaky experience I had there was coming up from the basement.
I was on the stairs when they started to violently shake as if in an earthquake. I ran up them as quickly as my legs would take me only to find everything else in the house still. I can say that this house turned my skeptic husband into a believer as well.
One night he walked into the kitchen and was greeted by a floating loaf of bread. As soon as he spotted it it dropped to the floor. I am much happier now that I don't live in that house but at the same time the curiosity of what else may happen gets me.
