I saw in our old apartment a shimmer like ghost running down the hall into our living room. But the funny thing is my son and hubby were right there and they didn't see a thing??.

One night in 1981 there was a young woman that got in a car wreck. She drove straight into the river that is slightly past the bottom of Kennedy Hill Road. A year later a man was driving down Kennedy Hill and noticed a woman walking down the road soaked, not to mention it was the dead of winter. The man that was driving drove right next to her and asked if she needed a ride home. She said ''yes. '' Half way to her house he asked why she was walking in the winter right after a swim. She decided not to answer. ''Right Here'' said the young woman, ''could you tell my parents that I am here so they could get me a towel before I get out?'' He replied with a nod and knocked on the front door of her parents' house. ''Your daughter is in my car. She needs a towel to dry off with. I saw her walking down Kennedy Hill,'' The man said. ''Sorry to tell you son but our daughter got in a car wreck a year ago she died. I think you have the wrong house,'' they reply. ''No I'm serious. Come, look she is right in the front seat of my car. '' They all walked outside to find an open passenger door with a drenched seat, not knowing what happened that night. We all wonder what really happened. I am from Byron, Illinois. I have personally not seen the ghost of Kennedy Hill, but you better believe that she is real.

Ghost of Kennedy hill Rd lady killed in early 80's walks road after fatal car crash, she died on Halloween night.. In her jeep. She was wrapped around a telephone pole at bottom of the hill, the jeep was said to be found at the top of the hill turned around with the motor still running.
They say if you go on Halloween night you will see her.

Comment by Brenda: The story we heard in 1981 was during the winter months, a woman was seen walking down KH Road without a stitch of clothing on. No one in their right mind would be stark naked nude on a winter day in northern Illinois so the next thing to come out was someone who passed by her in their car said ''it's a ghost! '' no one was apprehended for public nudity so I have no idea who or what it really was.
I never heard the Jeep accident story.
Comment by Believer: My sister-in-law was killed in her Jeep in 1980 on Halloween night on Kennedy Hill. I have seen the ghost myself. It could be her.
