I think that the campus lake is haunted. One time I was walking the trail that circles the lake. It was dusk and I was walking near the swimming beach area. This dark-haired hippie-looking guy was stretched out on the grass like he was sleeping.
But I knew he wasn't and I got the sense that he was watching me through veiled lids as I walked closer to him. I got a really bad vibe from him and I decided that I would turn around and go back the way

I'd come from.
Suddenly the guy faded away into the dusk and his tie-dye shirt was the last thing I could see before his form slipped into nothing

but shadows. I never saw this guy again though I later heard that in 1968 a hippie guy drowned swimming the campus lake and that he sometimes can still be seen.

In 2000, my friends rented the last house at the end of cherry CT. They said the ghost would shut off their punk music. Also the dog would randomly bark at the wall. Also they sometimes would come home to opera radio station blasting music.
